Board of Directors

·    all volunteer;

·    17 consumers of health services (income not from provision of health services);

·    13 providers of health services;

·    Meetings are scheduled to be held at the Best Western Culpeper Inn on the first Tuesday of each month, generally at 1:00 p.m. (Notices of cancellation or time changes of board meetings are provided to members 60 days in advance of scheduled meeting dates, and are posted under "Coming Events" on this website.)

Advisory Councils

 

Each advisory council has up to 30 members -- all volunteers: 17 consumers and 13 provider representatives, broadly representative of geographic and other interests in its planning district.

·    Valley Health Council, serving the 5 counties and 5 cities of Planning District 6 (Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge and Rockingham counties and the cities of Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton and Waynesboro) -- generally meets on the third Wednesday of alternate months, at 6:30 P.M.

·    Lord Fairfax Health Council, serving Planning District 7 (Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren counties and the City of Winchester) -- generally meets on the second Tuesday of alternate months, at 6:30 P.M.

·    Rappahannock-Rapidan Health Council, serving Planning District 9 (Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties) -- currently inactive

·    Jefferson Health Council, serving Planning District 10 (Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson counties and the City of Charlottesville -- generally meets quarterly, on the third Thursday of the month, at 6:30 P.M.

·    Rappahannock Health Advisory Council, serving Planning District 16 (Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford counties and the City of Fredericksburg) -- generally meets on the second Wednesday of the month, at 6:30 P.M.
